The Artist

Project Overview: The requirement for this series was straightforward: "We are doing a recruitment campaign. We need something new, something... different." A colleague suggested portraying the subjects as someone else at first, then revealing them as someone completely different. Inspired by that idea we present the series - “Do You Have It In You?” which is based around the idea of glorifying workers in the hospitality sector like never before. Each of them portrayed a different persona but the core essence being that - they are the master of their art form. This approach showcases how much Cinnamon Life values the workforce that is integral in providing high quality service. With this being the first line of content Cinnamon Life officially launches to the outside world It is vital that they make a mark and deliver the message - This is not your usual hospitality brand. This is only on those videos. Production & Treatment: The production lasted two days, the locations being Cinnamon Lakeside and at Cinnamon Life, we shot all 4 videos in the span of those 2 days. This video tells the story of a young, well-dressed man whose job isn't revealed until later. He enters the frame and starts talking passionately about his work, sounding really smart and almost perfectionist, the video cuts between him speaking to cinematic clips of someone changing linen, arranging items and cleaning, the person who does this remains a mystery and the shots continue to be more close up and intimate. It's clear that the young man talking isn't connected to these tasks; he seems too intelligent for housekeeping. But the big reveal comes at the end when we find out that this sharp-witted gentleman is, in fact, a professional housekeeper.
