The Cook

Project Overview: The requirement for this series was straightforward: "We are doing a recruitment campaign. We need something new, something... different." A colleague suggested portraying the subjects as someone else at first, then revealing them as someone completely different. Inspired by that idea we present the series - “Do You Have It In You?” which is based around the idea of glorifying workers in the hospitality sector like never before. Each of them portrayed a different persona but the core essence being that - they are the master of their art form. This approach showcases how much Cinnamon Life values the workforce that is integral in providing high quality service. With this being the first line of content Cinnamon Life officially launches to the outside world It is vital that they make a mark and deliver the message - This is not your usual hospitality brand. This is only on those videos. Production & Treatment: The production lasted two days, the locations being Cinnamon Lakeside and at Cinnamon Life, we shot all 4 videos in the span of those 2 days. This video features a woman in her thirties, who appears to be a skilled cook. We witness her dedicated efforts as she works tirelessly, eventually taking a moment to rest. Despite her exhaustion, a triumphant smile graces her face—a smile indicative of success and accomplishment. We smoothly transition to her older self two decades later, exuding a more composed demeanor. As she rises and dons her chef's hat, the revelation unfolds that she has evolved into a master chef within the same kitchen.
